Meet The Founder
The foundation of Cutting Edge Solutions® is deeply rooted in hands-on cultivation and a relentless pursuit of agricultural excellence. Our story begins with John Piccirilli, known as “Uncle John,” who first planted seed to soil in 1978. This sparked a lifelong passion for unlocking the genetic potential within each plant. Driven by curiosity and a commitment to learning, John spent four decades refining his understanding of plant physiology, transitioning from traditional field cultivation to advanced greenhouse and indoor grow facilities. In 2001, with extensive knowledge and a desire to share it, John assembled a team of industry professionals. Together, they founded a science-driven fertilizer company dedicated to providing farmers with reliable, high-quality nutrient delivery systems. With an in-house lab, a skilled microbiologist, and a fully equipped production facility, Cutting Edge Solutions® was born. What began as a humble endeavor grew into a pioneering force in agriculture, built on innovation, integrity, and the pursuit of healthier, more productive crops.

As an independent and family-owned company, Cutting Edge Solutions® takes pride in keeping operations close to home. From our beginnings in Santa Rosa, California, to our move in 2022 to a state-of-the-art facility in White City, Oregon, we’ve grown with dedication and resilience. Leading the way is John Piccirilli and his nephew, Sean Piccirilli. John’s decades of experience form the backbone of our formulations, while Sean brings fresh energy and a commitment to innovation.
